Dr Peter Shelton BSc Hons (Accredited Podiatrist)
Peter is the founder and Director of Coastal Podiatry Foot & Ankle Clinic.
Peter graduated from his home town university of Huddersfield, England with an Honours degree in Podiatry. As an ex-professional Rugby League player Peter has a special interest in lower limb pain and human movement. With over a decade of private practice experience in all areas of lower limb health Peter’s main focus is on musculoskeletal conditions affecting the lower limb and in particular the foot and ankle.
As an Accredited Podiatrist Peter is dedicated to lifelong learning and has travelled the world to gain the most up to date knowledge from leading figures within the medical world to provide highly effective research based treatment protocols. Peter is a highly regarded figure in his field and works with many elite athletes and professional sporting teams. As such Peter has access to many of the Coasts best medical practitioners, Sports doctors and physios.
Peter is happy to see patients from all walks of life from retirees to children.
Away from work Peter enjoys spending quality family time on the coast with his wife and two young sons.

Katie Ormerod (Podiatrist)
Katie is a highly regarded member of the Coastal Podiatry team. Katie graduated from the University of Huddersfield in England with a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry Degree with Honours.
Since then Katie has gained valuable experience in a range of clinical settings. Her special interest and passion is Diabetic care, education & management and enjoys looking after high risk patients as well as general practice.
When Katie is not at work she enjoys spending time with her fiancée and friends in discovering new places and enjoying what the beautiful coast has to offer.
Katie is actively involved in updating her knowledge and clinical skills through regular continued professional development as well as attending many courses and seminars around the country, to enable her to provide the latest in evidenced based treatment to her patients.
Daniel Malone (BSc Hons)
Daniel graduated from the University of Huddersfield, in England.
Upon graduating Daniel worked in the National Health Service in England before moving to New Zealand to further enhance his career. Daniel enjoys working in a team environment and achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients and also believes in providing excellent communication and education to his clients. Away from work he enjoys surfing and scuba diving as well as working out at the gym. Daniel also likes travelling and seeing new places.
