What is Knee Pain?
Knee pain is a common problem that can originate in any of the bony structures compromising the knee joint, the kneecap, or the ligaments and cartilage of the knee.
What Causes Knee Pain?
When looking for the cause of knee pain it is important to remember that the knee is connected to a leg and a foot, and if the foot is out of alignment then it will have an effect on everything above it.
When the feet are misaligned it will cause the knee to move into the wrong position. This means the muscles, ligaments and tendons are constantly pulling and tearing, which will cause pain.
Other causes of knee pain:
Acute injuries like a broken bone, torn ligament, dislocation, and fractures.
Medical conditions such as arthritis, infections, gout, tendinitis, osteoarthritis, and bursitis
Other issues like bio mechanics, excess weight, and overuse
